Mid-summer Sunset

There is a forest trail in the arboretum that for a couple of days around the summer solstice (mid-summer day) is orientated directly at the setting sun. truly a magical couple of minutes - that's all the time you get to take the image above.

(Technically this was taken yesterday but I wasn't up to processing the image close to midnight. Note - there was no adjustment of the colour saturation in preparing this photograph - those golden colours are what we saw.)
