Missed it!

I was sat watching telly in the sitting room and the local resident kestrel perched on a street light over the road.

I raced upstairs, put 'big lens' on the camera, steadied myself to take the shot, car went by with a loud exhaust, kestrel did one!

I'd got all my settings wrong anyway so even if said car hadn't roared by it would still have been blurred; look closely at the lighting column, there's camera shake. I was on 1/340th, which was not enough.

Never-mind, it'll be back, it's a regular visitor.
