A Day In The Life

The only reason I know it's Saturday is this is the only day we purchase newspapers, they become less relevant as each day passes. The newsagent always has a good supply of Irn-Bru "Made in Scotland from Girders". Spent the day doing household chores and being "Nurse Nancy" for my wife after her visit to the burns unit.

My album of the day is "Ghost On The Canvas" by Glen Campbell. Never thought I would purchase this album, but after watching the heartbreaking documentary of his final tour and dealing with the early stages of Alzheimer's, this guitar-for-hire sang and played magnificently. The album is well arranged and produced and a subtly moving farewell. My favourite track is Teddy Thompson's "In My Arms".
