Madness

This is what our village looks like this afternoon. The car park is full to overflowing and there are cars on both sides of the road right through the village. It is never this busy in 'normal' times.There aren't that many places to walk; it will be impossible to avoid close contact with other people on the track up to High Cup Nick. And I don't think the toilets are open either. 

I suppose that, with all the confusing messages from our government, many people have decided the pandemic is over and they can do whatever they want. Apparently the roads are very busy indeed. I wonder what the Lake District is like. 

In a few minutes we are having our family Zoom quiz session - something called football has interfered with the usual schedule. The Cornwall contingent are hosting a Mastermind type of thing and we have all had to choose a specialist subject. I wonder what the three girls have chosen.
