Gently down the stream

Jewelled

One of the things I love about the reed beds is the way they hold the wet.  The water in this shot is indirectly a result of Thursday's rain - but is not rain.  It's moisture almost steaming up from the reeds.  I have never seen it covering a damselfly before, but today when I passed the place they like to sit together (they really do, all facing the same way, like polite folks watching a bowls match) here they all were.

Jewelled.  And good fun in Large.

Not a lot else has been achieved today.  I'm going to have to contact the doctor for yet more antibiotics on Monday, so meanwhile I'm allowing myself to take things easy.  How pleasant.

Enjoy your Saturday evening  xx
