Solstice

It's the Summer Solstice today (June 20) or the Winter Solstice tomorrow (June 21), depending on your hemisphere.

So out walking today I looked for small signs of the turning of the year.

There are bees in the purple flowers: the first camellias and the last of the frost bitten roses: and there's always an intrepid toadstool.
