The Big Change
Years ago when my senior Newfoundland dog could no longer get up from wood floors, I moved my bed onto the carpeted livingroom floor and we all moved in there to make her life easier. After she passed away we stayed in there because my Labrador was old and it was getting hard for her to jump on on things and yes - my dogs slept on my bed with me.
Last year she passed away and I still had my very old cat who could no longer jump on things so again, the bed stayed on the floor in the living room. Sammy cat passed away earlier this year and there I was by myself in the living room at night without a bedroom any more as my business took it over as a fiber studio.
So I have a larger room that I have wanted to make the fiber studio, but lots of reason s why it had not happened to that point mainly centered around my pets. Now the change is happening and it involves three rooms - the living room, the soon to be bedroom and the fiber studio. I thought this would be a simple thing. Silly me. It means not just moving all the furniture but emptying out things and finding they work or don't work places and moving them again.
So this table is the contents of my special display cabinet that holds all my carved fetishes and stones and crystals and touch stones of my past. It's a bit mind boggling to me to see all these things crowded together on a table. The cabinet is getting moved as soon as another shelving unit is moved out of the way.
and then I will need to buy a new bed....
