Swarm number 2

A park walk with eco mum and dogs.

Did not feel great so just read.

The laird called a swarm at the apiary, so headed out to collect it.

Up the ladders and in the cardboard box.

Checked the hives and found the source hive I missed my Thursday inspection so my fault. 3 hives with queen cells so will sort tomorrow as the muggy weather and thundery atmosphere are not great for sorting hives.

Another swarm alert from swarm alert to contacted the person and arranged to collect later.

Put the swarm from out apiary in a hive at an old beekeepers apiary, it was pouring but managed to get them settled.

Home for some equipment and out to pick up swarm. Nice height to collect and quite a big cluster. In the box and spent a bit of time getting stragglers as in student accommodation block garden.

Sealed up and in the garage to be hived in the morning.
