I started my meal delivery job this morning.
9 drop offs ....... no problem.
Wrong!
A useless sat-nav system.
People refusing to come out and collect them (I had no way to get in).
Trying to find places where the streets have no names.
Blocks of flats with broken entry systems.
Houses being used as postal drops.
People being moved by the Council without passing on the information.
People either not answering the door or not being in.

These are people who have applied for the meals due to hardship and have been told when the deliveries will be made for God's sake.

On the other side of the coin, there were some who were very appreciative and grateful.

There was a surprise bunch of flowers on the doorstep this morning - no card or note.
SWMBO managed to track down the gift giver ..... one of H's daughters. What a lovely girl.

I have hung onto one rose from the old bunch of flowers and with photograph it as it slowly dries out - This is the first of them.
