A Small Blue Bug Comes to Visit

I was sitting in our quiet backyard in the shade, just taking a few minutes to ponder some things, when the little blue bug showed up. He flew directly to the old butterfly garden, where he sat and flexed his wings for a minute. Then he disappeared. I believe this is an ebony jewelwing damselfy, and a male. The female typically has spots on the tips of her wings. Hello, fancy blue bug!
