Poppy Bud...

for Flower Friday.

Found this tiny bud on my walk a couple of days ago and am hoping to document it's opening. I believe it is a Common poppy (Corn poppy, Field poppy, Flanders poppy etc) which is sadly considered an agricultural weed.
