The Return of Wantage Lake!

After many weeks of dry weather, it was great to see the rains return Wantage Lake back to its best, swamping both road and footpath!

This is man-made structure that has been around for many decades; and is one of the few leisure facilities we have in Wantage.  It is much loved by dogs and young children; and we have Oxfordshire County Council, who look after this road (or more to the point fail to look after this road) to thank for this magnificent feature!
