Taking the Top Spot...

Maisie and I were out before dawn, in the dark and walking in the rain. It has been a chilly damp day. Once at home Maisie was dried off and settled in front of the wood burner. With much turning in circles and tugging and pulling she managed to move her day bed from its spot next to the cane log basket to a position on the fireside rug right in front of the wood burner. There was no room left on the rug for the cats. Clever Maisie!
