Early Summer Evening

Temperatures began to rise again today after a cool weekend and, although there were no clouds, it was a hazy early summer evening. The sky took on a pale yellow hue which reflected off the water surface. Strong directional sunlight created deep shadows on the foliage and rocks that made photographing a challenge.

Interestingly, the exposure of my original edit in daylight looked correct, but at night when posting, the image was too bright and I adjusted it. I shall have to reevaluate in the morning light.

Edit: I like the way it is now. Pays to take a second look before committing.
