Rodents rule

Newfoundland o'clock

The Newfoundland dog in the corner of this blip is one of my lockdown joys. At the end of the working day, if Fred and I walk to Norwood Grove, this dog always makes an appearance. While his owners chat to other dog owners, usually those with small dogs, this great fluffy creature sits apart from them and surveys the surroundings.

The house behind the dog is the White House of Norwood Grove. It would have had an amazing view in its time.

Tonight's walk, in the sunshine after a day of nonstop rain, featured some alleyways around Streatham, a sit down in the sun on Streatham Common, many parakeets, the Newfoundland, and a general agreement that we'd make pizza for dinner. It was delicious.

Mum won the quiz – my Geberal Knowledge let me down this time.

Otherwise, the day was filled with video conferences and a bit of an editorial step backwards to go forwards. All hands on deck.
