We would have loved......

...... to have gone a Wandering this morning so we set off with the dogs in the car and headed out towards Cottam on the Yorkshire wolds. On the way we spotted in the distance a bright red field so we made a detour to investigate. Eureka I found my field of poppies they stretched as far as the eye could see.

 Back on track we parked in a lay-by and got all our gear on and set off down the lane we hadn’t gone more than 20yards when the heavens opened and it poured down , being fair weather walkers we high tailed it back to the car had our coffee and went home,
