Nae riggin
Drinking my flask of coffee this morning watching, and listening to the gardeners working on the flower galleon. N the head gardener was keen to erect some wire rigging and there was deep discussion as to whether this would be an enhancement. One view was to ‘chase some clematis’ which presumably wouldn’t happen for at least a year or so, or at least so you would notice. The consensus seemed to be that the rigging was not a good idea and people might think it’s purpose was to hold the thing in place. So the next 15 minutes or so was spent taking it all down again; a good mornings work and gently entertaining.
Home for lunch, avocado salad with just enough salty bacon to take the edge off the silkiness, and then a surprise invite from Magnus and Lorne to an early tea time barbeque in the garden. Absolutely delicious lamb chops - I had Bobs share who was fortuitously full from a generous beef burger.
Sweet photo from Lorne depicting Islay from the other side of the fence. The extra blip today.
