Pudding Sandwich

A fairly low-key day. My main activity was preparing a big Sunday dinner, whilst trying to ignore the sounds of Mr B pulling down ceilings elsewhere in the house. Roast lamb with all the trimmings went down well with the worker, as - to my surprise - did this pudding, made up to get rid of the egg whites left over from the Yorkshires.

I think I'll make it again: with thinner meringue layers (and more of them) and less ganache between the layers. We'll stick with scooshy cream and grated chocolate though. I have plans for a lemon meringue version, but chocolate felt more appropriate on a day with all the weather (rain, wind, sunshine).

No hunters in the garden today. Plenty of bunnies though.
