And the rain came down!

Thunder storms were forecast and that’s what we eventually got! Whilst sitting outside enjoying a cuppa we watched the skies darken and the distance rumble of thunder but thought it would probably miss us. Not the case. It POURED!  Upside is no watering of the garden this evening. 

Just before it poured Miss H brought the chicks here as they need to go into a bigger run. They are so sweet and seem to be nice and healthy so fingers crossed they will continue to thrive! I got quite excited yesterday as I thought my only remaining hen from the fox attack had started to lay again. Alas a false alarm!

Farming - Compost hauling only today.
