Thistle Eruptus

I love these thistles as they power out of the earth like prickly spaceships. The hill is full of them, made more visible by the cows chomping down the grasses. Woody and I decide on our route depending on where the cows are as they have a lot of calves at the moment and he has been chased a couple of times and consequently is Not Keen on cows.  

N and I had early Zoom drinks with Sarah P,  Ari from Canada and our make up designer friend Sophie.  All freelancers in film and TV are very stressed and having to live on their savings at the moment but costume and make up are most worried because they can’t see how they can come back to work with their teams when filming starts back up.  

At least being able to meet friends IRL has made a lot of people who live alone feel less isolated.
