Still Life

with what I had. White roses from the backyard, a jar of Kalamata olives, fresh basil in a pot, a yellow heirloom tomato, an old bell pepper, two types of curly lettuces, 2 medium jalapeno peppers, and a few cherry tomatoes. But I ended preparing a minestrone soup. A good day all in all with lots of translation work done. And the book " The Room Where it Happened" written by John Bolton, the former national security adviser, was obtained by journalists before its publication next week. I'm sure it contains more notorious stories of crime and corruption.
