Yes, or clay with which to create.

Together they are the river; together they are the beach.

Sometimes the waters rise up, flood and enrich; sometimes the banks contain to guide the current.

Without water the earth is a barren desert dissipating sand; without earth, water has no direction, no power, no flow.

Together they are the tide, together they are a garden. When the silt settles, they are life.
