A selfless self

It was my mum's 56th birthday today. We celebrated by going out for a meal to a quirky local restaurant then to see some live music in a local pub.

Mum is an inspiration in so many ways. She has never had a lot financially, but is the kindest, warmest person I have ever met. Her door is always open. Strangers feel welcome. People feel at home. She has a kind heart and good soul. When she smiles, when she laughs - it's real. It's from within. Family is her life and she will always give what she can. Selfless.
