Bindweed

What a great day we had! Ken, Ann and Lynne came for a garden visit. We had a lovely sunny morning and coffee and cake on the terrace. Really delightful.
I spotted these flower capsules of the bindweed, and realised I have never noticed their delightful heart shapes. Shame about their subsequent behaviour!
In the afternoon Pepper wanted a walk so we went over to Burnsbeck Moss, but a terrific thunderstorm got going and we had to retreat. There was a torrential downpour but we were safely indoors!
