Hosta

The first flower on the hosta plant survived the recent shower. I am having trouble from a pidgeon who has started diving into container with a convolvulous plant in. I think some seeds from near by bird feeder end up there and one particular pidge found out. He has smashed the centre of plant so I have placed canes around. Tonight he arrived and was trying to see if he could get in off the wall - now placed two large shrub roots on wall.
