Poppies

Yes, I finally found spotted a poppy field and I nipped out v early this morning to take advantage of the slightly misty conditions. Unfortunately, this was an enclosed field, with more telegraph poles/wires which put paid to any picturesque sweeping shots.  (There is a permissive footpath through the field.)

The local residents were intrigued by my presence and I liked the way the densest swathe of poppies led up to them.  The extra shows some bovine mother love.
