Poppies everywhere

I just had to go to the village shop this morning as I had the last ginger nut at morning coffee! What would happen tomorrow!!

Naturally I went the long way round the fields rather than straight to the shop, so a 10 minute walk was an hour :-)

This afternoon I had the chimney swept by an anti-terrorist police officer no less? Apparently they need to do extra jobs as the government ruined his pension plan! At least I was safe...
