Not quite the activity I had in mind...

This afternoon I had my last (online) lessens of the school year... Just after Pippa came back from school to pick up her yearbook the heavens opened... blimey, it’s been a while that so much water came down in so little time. It meant that the sewage system could not cope anymore and our basement flooded, not with sewage water (thank goodness), but rainwater that could not get into the sewers...
Not just our (and many other) basement flooded, also the Kennedy tunnel under the Scheldt river flooded, causing traffic mayhem on the Ringbof Antwerp.
