BBQ and blue

I didn’t run or walk today for fear of upsetting my sore leg all the more. Borrrring!!
We got ourselves ready for the BBQ in the garden. The weather decided to be kind. I couldn’t settle last time we were there but today was lovely. The girls had loads of fun and a lot of food was eaten.
When I got home I was shocked to hear from a dear friend.
In life there are people who you meet and people who come and go and then there are those that are part of your soul and who you are inside and out. LB is one of those people. She is part of me. Through thick and thin. She has been there for some of the darkest moments in my life and I was shocked to hear how down she was. I got in my car and drove straight over and we sat in her garden and had a long chat. To not be able to help or fix it for her now is awful.
