Double trouble

Last cow calved in the night twins no less. The white one the boy was caught in the bag but we managed to break him out. The girl was no bother. Unfortunately she will be a freemartin which is a shame. Also added fun their mum is riddled with mastitis so we have had to make the choice to hand rear them. At least they have each other for company. What an end to calving. They are currently doing well though.

It was my grans funeral today hard not to be there with my family but it is the way it is at the moment.
