No Trains Today

Or any other day in the near future.  This was taken at Tanfield Railway - a local steam railway run by volunteers.  It is usually open at weekends, school holidays and over the Christmas holiday period.  Hoping it is able to continue running after lock down ends.  

Sadly £20,000 of copper pipe work and brass fittings were stolen in April and has put the restoration of a 116 year old locomotive in risk and also left the volunteers feeling very dispirited.
