Unexpected

Has turned into a lovely day-weather wise and company too.
So I did my Zoom work call this morning and then my great friend said would i like to come out walking.  I quickly packed my lunch and my sunscreen and off we set.
We mostly walked on the canal, though the Dell over to Wester Craiglockhart Hill, where we got beautiful views and a kestrel hunted close by while we had our picnic.
The foxgloves and buttercups were spectacular and full of bees.
