The vicious pike!

watched this fisherman spend a good 10 minutes trying to land this fish without breaking his line. Known as the shark of the rivers this vicious fish weighed four and a half pounds. The fisherman was happy to be photographed as long as I took his photo on his camera. He put on heavy leather gloves to extricate his hook and line - the worm was still wriggling inside the pike's aweful mouth. He showed us the pike's teeth and then showed us where the pike had drawn blood through the leather!
I had never seen a pike like this before so this had to be my blip!
The pike was returned to the canal to continue it's plundering of smaller fish.
