Sunny Side Up!

After the rain of yesterday.....we had the wind and the sunshine today....and refreshing it was too!

Visited Dubai Mall to see Les Miserables before it went from the cinema altogether. So uncrowded, being the first day of the working week, just 4 other people to watch the movie, munching and drinking their preferred snacks and juices or pop!! Won't share our decadent choice!!! It was after all a three hour nail biter so sustenance was a necessary part of the equation!

Could watch it all over again!

Highly recommended if you haven't already seen it.

Came out to this view of the sunlight streaming through the roof of the mall, dancing on the advertising hordes and making everywhere look like a midsummer's day.

It's the last day of the shopping festival and unfortunately the gusty winds stopped any chance of fireworks tonight!

Sad ending but....no wind...no...rain...no smiles!!! Think everyone, without exception, would rather have more wind and rain for this otherwise dry and thirsty land!

Fireworks can wait for the next grand occasion!
