Humid Tuesday

The man from the bathroom showroom came to measure up. We kept our distance as we chatted. Who'd have thought 3 months ago it would be the norm to chat with someone in our kitchen wearing a black mask . 

It started to rain just  before taking Fletch out so we put on wet weather gear. As we walked the rain  stopped and it became very warm and humid . We wished we'd chosen the shorter walk.

Back home then off for the weekly big shop. Tesco was quiet again.. thank goodness.

Back home and I searched the internet re having our mint green bath re coated white. I phoned one company that was supposed to be local ie Cumbria but the woman seemed to have  no idea where in the UK we were.! I then phoned someone local who was literally down the road so we had a second visitor. A lovely man, turned out to be a friend of our friends . He was honest enough to say that the recoating doesnt last that long and didnt advise it but did give us advice on how to remove the stain which was there when we moved in.

I didnt really get my camera out today.. apart from taking photos of the bath! Lots of amazing mini beast photos from all in the camera club. My efforts will  be less impressive I think. 

Blip is of the blanket. Looks a bit more yellow  than the actual  thing. It's quite a nice delicate lemon. Finished. Sending it off tomorrow.
