Should have been Graduation day
So no photos, no cap and gown and no celebrating with friends but I think we managed to make today a little special for Miss PHL. She’s still waiting for her results but I wanted to mark the day in some way.
So I had got together a little bag of treats - a notebook, some sweets, a charm for her bracelet and other bits and pieces - and she seemed quite pleased. Her brother sent her some lovely earrings too so the day wasn’t just a normal one.
Quiet afternoon before a nice steak with trimmings dinner. After dinner the others watched Kindergarten Cop whilst I had a lovely catch up with some friends I used to work with.
Blip is of a Lowry tapestry I made for my mum more than 30 years - she loved LS Lowry and had several prints in the house so I enjoyed seeing the tapestry for her. I enjoyed making it so much that I made a different scene for myself. I really must get mine framed once lockdown is over! It’s been in a drawer for years.
