I saw these two swinging on a feeder from the cherry tree this afternoon. I had planned on a different blip but I cannot resist a love story, especially that of the northern cardinal • We started our day with a breakfast picnic at the river. Soon after arriving we noticed some unusual activity, and only later found out what was happening. A seaplane was circling overhead for more than an hour. We kept waiting for it to land but it just kept circling over a small area. Then, a Marine Patrol boat passed through going north along the west-side banking. A couple of police cruisers slowly drove through the boat landing too. It was all very strange but we thought it was coincidence. When we arrived home, I was outside watering and that same seaplane was circling overhead. We live less than a mile from the river. Finally I checked the news to learn a local 13 year old autistic boy disappeared from his caretaker’s home at 4:30am • Good news! He was found late this afternoon. No other details provided • That’s enough excitement for today!
