Day lily

Well, I'm glad i got the black-eyed susan yesterday. About 3 hours after I took that photograph, the field was mowed! It is now lying drying in the sun! 
Today the day lilies are beginning to open and there should be a lot before the end of the summer. This is one of the first.

Today our new propane tank arrived, all shining white with a blue lid. We have switched supplier following the struggle we had getting deliveries last winter. Our old supplier sold out to a new company out of Texas and it was a disaster from our point of view. So I am hoping for much better service from now on. Looking good so far!
