Thwarted

Me & Mrs MD escaped lock-down and took a short drive in the afternoon sunshine.  The idea was to return home via Saddleworth Road which crosses the M62 at Scammonden Bridge.
Wrong! ..... the bridge is closed whilst a £1.2m bespoke 2.4m (8ft) high anti-climb fence is installed following a number of deaths.  The project is due to take 3 months to complete.
