Wemyss Bay pier postcard

Caley steamer Marchioness of Breadalbane at the southside of the pier circa 1910. Trains brought thousands of trippers from Glasgow Paisley and Greenock to Wemyss Bay station the platforms of which still adjoin the pier shed seen here. This steamer would carry them to Millport via Largs.
