Out of bounds!

On the 10th tee at Cockermouth Golf Club we have to drive over this quarry!

It's about 100 metres across...so quite easy to drive across, but there is no room for error!

We had torrential rain for nearly an hour today, but we kept on playing. ( we've got all the rain kit, and the weather was warm! )

( If there was thunder and lightning we would have walked straight in! )
