Green shoots

After yesterday's beautiful sunshine it was a return to grey dreichness today. However, a walk up the road this afternoon revealed the weak efforts of the sun to break through the cloud on the horizon.

I was pleased to see the new grass sprouting in the field... and you know how I love a bit of barbed wire and a rusty old pole!

There's a lot of publicity on television at the moment about the forthcoming Comic Relief campaign. I reckon it'll take a lot to beat this video from 2011! It's packed with all sorts of well-known people willing to make a fool of themselves - Rio Ferdinand is my favourite! He's guaranteed to make me chuckle!
