Another take-over?

I hope it's not a bad omen.  While the Sanguinaria continues apace, the wee Iris seems to have retreated vanquished.

I'm now wondering if this one will  (Epicactis gigantea)go the same way; having spread from a single flower spike in 2015 to this group now.

BTW - before anybody points out the flower is a Sisyrinchium, I know it is, but it's staying in situ until it beds down for winter at "Back-end".
