Nepalese Singing Bowl

A few years ago we visited Kathmandu in Nepal, where I bought this bowl. There was a ‘singing bowl’ shop near the Stupa, where they tailor the bowl to your needs.
You have to decide what size bowl you want, what sound you want and which part of the body you will ideally be using the bowl if it is for healing.
I love the tone my bowl makes when it is ‘played’ with the beautiful leather covered rosewood wand. Most bowls are made from up to eight metals but can vary in quality. Too cheap and they won’t last and you will be disappointed with the sound.
