One good thing about all of these daily lockdown walks has been watching the changes in the trees and the appearance of different wildflowers as the weeks go on. I have a handy wee app on my phone that has enabled me to identify a lot of ‘new’ trees and wildflowers which I can then mark off in the various books I have. It’s much easier to take a quick photo and get all the information about the flower from the app than it is to remember what it looked like and search through a book!
