Springing into action

A picture of Dave and Bramble at the beach ,late on in the afternoon. Dave is weighed down by the bags of coal he collected , he can’t pass by a single piece !
It will be washed, dried , stored and then burnt next time it’s cold enough for a fire . He is a gatherer by nature , he can’t help it !
He had just thrown some sand into the sea, a game Bramble never tires of and so there she is ,leaping into action for the  fruitless search for those particular grains  of sand . Her mother was a Springer Spaniel and
Bramble can certainly spring into action when the fancy takes her (squirrel)
We felt we had timed our day well today .
My morning hilltop walk revealed a landscape clothed in mist way out towards the coast, it was bright here so spent a sunny morning on the pen and drifted over to the coast mid afternoon, the mist replaced by sun and clear skies . Arrived home to find there had been heavy downpours, so we had dodged the dodgy weather and managed to stay sun soaked all day .
No strimming  happened , postponed for another day .
