Mask Day

So today the rule came in the we have to wear masks in corridors and shared offices. Our building is a hot prefab in summer and some of the staff have struggled with the heat.

The picture is me while socially distancing in a corridor. I look a little tired, partly because the heat had made my eyeliner run! Luckily a risk assessment came out as the day was finishing which means we can remove mask wearing in more offices where there is 2 metres distance and plenty of ventilation.

Got loads done today and finished up with a good chat with procurement. Our procurement team have worked incredibly hard. The only reason we have had enough PPE throughout is their determination and ability to think outside the box. People think the hero's are frontline staff, and they are, but it's wider than that.
