And so it begins! The greatest rugby tournament in the world....the Six Nations Championship!

A tour around Europe sampling the culture and the hospitality of some of its greatest cities, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, Dublin, Paris and Rome, all in the name of rugby union. When it's played well, it's a beautiful game!

Supporters plan their trips with military precision; the craic is what it's all about!

As I write this I've already seen the first two matches, Ireland beat Wales in a high scoring affair and England beat Scotland. Already the hopes and dreams of two teams may have been dashed, but don't despair because this is the greatest rugby tournament and anything can happen.

My prediction for what it's worth is that I don't think there will be a Grand Slam this year, in fact I think 3 teams could end up on the same points with the title being decided by points difference.
