Bakers Dozen

Following on from the success of the birthday cake last week today I turned my hand to scones. They turned out ok, cherry scones, a favourite of Mrs S and as she is currently on holibobs it’s all about having a little of what we like.
The take out meal for our friends was Louisiana Jambalaya it was really good even if I say so myself. Not so the Corn Bread that was to go with it - a disaster. However the meal was enjoyed so I need to find a dish for next week.
We have lost the use of the home PC as Samantha works for ten hours or more each day to complete her final ‘hand ins’ ready for submission on the 15th.
Three long years, not much shy of £30,000, a lot of hard work and no little tears and angst and we are almost there.
