Mix n Match Stone Masonary

The last 3 weeks we've driven 2-3 miles every weekend to have a change of scenery for us n the dogs. Today was to a local church by the River Trent where it splits in 2 for a few miles.

The mix of laterally laid and cris cross masonary patterns took my eye today. Extra is off some swans that were enjoying the gentle weir. There were ducks or geese further along too.
